Day 1

 

PRAGUE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer. Evening transfer to Old Town Square. Welcome to Prague! At your airport of arrival, we shall be waiting with transport to take you to your hotel. Free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area. In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and tourist activities. It’s a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.

Day 2

 

PRAGUE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river. Today we are visiting this capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour along Vltava River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague. In the evening, we will enjoy some time off in the historical city center and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world (including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian). Return to hotel.

PRAGUE - LAUF 30ºC clear sky - WURZBURG - FRANKFURT 27ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Bavarian Landscapes.We leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will see LAUF AN DER PEGNITZ, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. After this we will carry on to WURZBURG, with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine, a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city. Our journey continues towards FRANKFURT. Explore the historic centre and choose your favorite restaurant to dine in (from Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and so on).

FRANKFURT 27ºC clear sky - CRUISE ON THE RIVER RHINE - COLOGNE (KÖLN) - AMSTERDAM 31ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Rhine cruise included. Today we include a small CRUISE ON THE RHINE, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR; undoubtedly the river’s most picturesque sector. After this we will travel to COLOGNE, a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then on to Holland. AMSTERDAM – arrival at the end of the day - .

AMSTERDAM 31ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Picturesque typical village of Volendam. Boat on the I Jsselmeer lake. City tour of Amsterdam. Today we have a very exciting and beautiful day. We will go to ZAANSE SCHANS with its mills, its canals and its typical houses . VOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing village. From Volendam, on a short boat trip we will go to MARKEN, an island that was united to the mainland by a fixed dike, their houses were built on stilts. In the afternoon we include a panoramic tour of AMSTERDAM to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, its official buildings and parks, and will also see the technique of diamond cutting. Transfer to the red light district, with its liberal values and its many restaurants from all corners of the world. It is very likely that you will have heard about this neighbourhood.

Day 6

 

AMSTERDAM 31ºC clear sky - BRUSSELS - BRUGES - PARIS 34ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Feeling Belgium. We will leave for BRUSSELS, and will have time in the Grand Place and take a stop to photograph the Atomium. Later in BRUGES, the marvellous Flemish city known as the "northern little Venice". Time for lunch. Continuation to France. PARIS, arrival at the end of the day. Recommendation: If you start or end your trip in Paris, we advise you to book an extra day or two in this city. In this way, you will be able to get to know Euro Disney, Versailles and other places of interest.

Day 7

 

PARIS 34ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Boat ride along the Seine. Evening transfer. A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day (or Monday). At sunset transfer to the “Quartier Latin”, a very picturesque area of the historic centre where you can enjoy dinner with a wide variety of international cuisines. Return to hotel.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Free time in the City of Light. We go to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Free time. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. Rest of the day free. It will be offered for travelers who are interested, an optional excursion to enjoy in Eurodisney.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogne region.We travel to the centre of France to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. A stop in NOYERS, a small medieval town classified amongst the prettiest places in France. After this we will visit BEAUNE in the centre of the Bourgogne region where its streets full of flowers, its hospice and its wine museum can be reminders of your trip. Time for lunch. LYON – Arrival mid-afternoon -, to the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône, its historic centre has been declared a World Heritage site. Free time.

Day 10

 

LYON 29ºC clear sky - GENEVA - ZURICH 25ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Swiss Landscapes. Centre of Geneva We have a beautiful stage. We travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. With our guide, go to the Palais des Nations (the United Nations headquarters in Europe) and then to the beautiful “Jardin Anglais” with its flower clock, and admire the “Jet d’Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, we will continue through Switzerland passing the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel Lakes (note: depending on the number of travellers from Geneva to Zürich, this trip might be done by train).

Day 11

 

ZURICH 25ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat trip across Zurich lake. Journey by train. With our guide, we will stroll in the most populated city of Switzerland, the financial and cultural capital of the country. The city of banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this we will board a boat for a trip lasting almost two hours on Zurich lake. The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train, and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. Enjoy an evening in the historic centre, next to the lake, where you can dine at your favorite restaurant (Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, Swiss, etc.).

 

Day 12

 

ZURICH 25ºC clear sky - LOUVER - ZURICH 25ºC clear sky

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grindelwald first. Lunch included. Today´s stage has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald first. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the "footbridge over the empty" among the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that we continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Time at the end of the day to stroll, enjoy the city and dine before returning to the hotel in Zurich.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: We will know the town of William Tell. We travel to BURGLEN, the tiny village where William Tell was born, we shall see the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. We continue to LUGANO the cosmopolitan capital of the Italian Switzerland with its beautiful lake. Time to stroll and have lunch. Afterwards, following the shores of the lake, we reach the enchanting little town of MORCOTE, with its houses made of stone, and covered with flowers. Arrival in MILAN where our guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square. There will be time to dine at the Porta Venecia (Port of Venice) where an outstanding variety of restaurants can be found to delight your palate. From restaurants serving Swiss and Italian food, to French, Chinese and international food. Transfer to hotel.

Day 14

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Centre of Milano. Leaning Tower of Pisa.Time in MILAN in which we can see its great cathedral and the galleries in the centre. Then we continue towards PISA. On a little tourist train we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the afternoon.

Day 15

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum (admission price included) and Vatican City.In the morning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And we have also included admission to the Roman Coliseum, the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive con­struction dates back 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening we provide transport to the Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and interna­tional food. Return to hotel.

Day 16

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Flight Rome – Madrid. Evening transfer to the Gran Via District.After breakfast a transfer takes you to the airport to take your flight at around 11.00hrs to Madrid. Upon arrival we shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfer to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de Es­paña and Gran Via; a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.

Madrid: Disfrute opcionalmente de una cena con espectáculo flamenco.

Day 17

 

MADRID 30ºC clear sky

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park. Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bullring. Night transfer The day starts about 08.30 hrs with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Gran Via, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. Visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, International) in which to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Return to hotel.

Day 18

 

MADRID 30ºC clear sky - ZARAGOZA (SARAGOSSA) 25ºC clear sky - POBLET - MONTSERRAT 29ºC few clouds - BARCELONA 29ºC clear sky

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Basílica del Pilar. Visit to a medieval monastery. Ride on a rack train.. We depart early in the morning from Madrid. Heading towards Aragón, we pause our journey in ZARAGOZA. Our guide will join the group to Basílica del Pi­lar. Afterwards the group will have free time to visit this impressive sanctuary and enjoy the city centre. Later, we make our way to Cataluña to the Monastery of Poblet, surrounded by walls in a beautiful setting, this is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance and guided tour included). We then go on to the Monastery of Montserrat where we include a ride on the rack train for the fantastic views this gives. Continuation to BARCELONA, arrival in the late afternoon. Important note: in the winter months, from November to March (both included), due to the shorter days, the Monastery of Poblet will not be visited (so that we can reach Montserrat in the daylight)

Day 19

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Barcelona city tour. “Spanish Village” visit and evening transfer to Las Ramblas district. Today we will get to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Medi­terranean Sea. Our visit includes an informative city tour with a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neigh­bourhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. It will be possible to see and photograph La Sagrada Fa­milia basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí. Subsequently, we include the entry ticket to “Poble Espanyol” (meaning “Spanish Village”). This open air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain. Free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we provide transfer to Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area, where you can select from a great variety of restaurants (including Indian, Chinese, Halal, International and regional Spanish cuisine). Return to hotel.
